IM BACK

I have been wanting to post again for so long but we haven't had the internet and going someplace for that long to focus on uploading pictures, etc... well... i just am not that motivated.  I pulled up the page and my first thought as an overly self-critical person was UGH! THAT PICTURE HAS BEEN UP ALL THIS TIME?! ha...... but ya know what... I'm happy in that picture and i have my boys with me and so WHATEVER.  I'm trying to get over my issues with that vainness. BUT ANYWAY... I wasn't even planning on talking about that.  I was planning on talking about how my time doesn't line up with my priorities.  So Im going to start to change that.  I am.  We have since the last post moved to florida! We took the most fun vacation of our lives and saw so many wonderful places and people and got to spend lots of time together as a family:) That will get its own post though.  When we arrived here at the end of April we spent a month doing wedding prep, wedding celebration, moving, adjusting, and enjoying the beach.  Then we spent a month with me working, and Brad looking for a job full time and both of us needing lots of beach trips to relax and fun meals with my family. (its amazing how nice living near family is!) And now, we have finally settled into a routine of brad working, and me spending time with jackson at home, and since Brad begins his program in a week, we get the internet! :)

I just wanted to do a quick post with some pictures I have been wanting to add because I love them so much. The first is a little blurry but its jackson in such a happybaby (one word on purpose ha) state. i love him.

Its football season again and we have cable this time! wahoo! jack will never sit like this on my lap.... he gets too antsy/thinks-he's-hungry. but i think its cute how he stares at the tv when he sits on brads.
so so so so so cute. not a prayer goes by that i would forget to thank Heavenly Father for these two boys. :)

Apple FHE

To celebrate fall, we went to the apple orchard to pick some nice apples, and our idea was to make caramel apples and bring them to people but the store didnt have the caramels or sticks for it! so we did some easy apple dumplings instead. let me just get this off my chest first... it was so fun... however... there were so many lady bugs flying around that 1)jackson almost ate one that landed on me by his face and 2) i felt like they were crawling all over me the rest of the night. ALSO, i stepped in mud as soon as we got there. SQUISHY!

Jackson's Shout Out to his Florida Fam!

So this should show up as a video... like the one before it.. but anyway, this is me helping Jackson to say what hes been meaning to say... which is a big ole HELL-O to his florida family! :) love you and miss you all! im hoping I will get to see you all soon but who knows!

This last saturday we hiked R mountain... I think the R is for rexburg... but its also not a real mountain... its a BUTTE. but it was a lot of fun and took us about 2 1/2 hours total. Jackson is being shaded from the sun in the BABY BJORN!

overall awesome hike and day. and gala apple. drank 4 water bottles. thats how you know it good.

PS the reason for the title is that while it was fun hiking up, it was actually harder hiking down because its a lot of steep slopes with rock under sand... which is a perfect sliding situation. and we both slid and fell a few times. luckily noone got hurt.

we wont be taking jack up there again in a carrier!

Ketchup! or Zoo...

I know I should take time and get all caught up but lets face it... thats gonna take a long time and is less motivating than just posting whats been going on recently. BUT I am making myself post about our trip to the zoo with mandy, sarah and alex and SJ! It was a lot of fun AND the Idaho Falls zoo had a surprising amount of animals!

It was Jacks first trip to the zoo, which we kept getting excited about and pointing out... as if hes going to remember it! He really slept most of the trip, which was probably for the best... for everyone. We also had a nice picnic at the end (I know I should move those pics to the bottom but my computers being a pain... ) ANYWAY.. lunch was delicious and brad and jack were definitely tuckered out.

It was so fun having Mandy and Sarah up here!!! Mandy stayed at our apt and is sooo good with Jackson... he LOVES her and she always can calm him down. I think he has a crush on his aunty. I told him no. :)
