fall down the mountain!

This last saturday we hiked R mountain... I think the R is for rexburg... but its also not a real mountain... its a BUTTE. but it was a lot of fun and took us about 2 1/2 hours total. Jackson is being shaded from the sun in the BABY BJORN!

self timer on a rock. We were basically the only people up there... and it was so pretty!! seeing all the farmland below.
this was our "funny face" picture but it ended up looking more like a "before" picture on a diet ad. naturally i should post it.
hes not actually as close to the edge as it looks. we arent eegits, like those people at yellowstone!

overall awesome hike and day. and gala apple. drank 4 water bottles. thats how you know it good.

PS the reason for the title is that while it was fun hiking up, it was actually harder hiking down because its a lot of steep slopes with rock under sand... which is a perfect sliding situation. and we both slid and fell a few times. luckily noone got hurt.

we wont be taking jack up there again in a carrier!
